Tempeh Triangles
Source: Vegetarian Times
¼ cup milk
1 TB Dijon mustard
¼ cup cornmeal
1/8 cup flour
1 tsp sage
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
8 ounce package tempeh
1/4 cup oil
1. Whisk together milk & mustard in bowl
2. Combine cornmeal, flour, sage, salt & pepper in bowl
3. Cut tempeh lengthwise in two. Cut each of the two strips into thirds, and divide each third into 2 triangles
4. Dip triangles in milk mixture & coat in cornmeal mixture; set aside
5. Heat oil in frying pan & fry triangles over medium heat about 5 minutes per side
6. Serve with the sauce of your choice
